Player agreement

These terms form a binding agreement between you and Crown DK CAN Ltd ("we", "us"). By registering or playing you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not register.

1. Eligibility

You must be 19 years of age or older and physically located in Ontario at the time you play for real money. Both conditions apply on every occasion, not only at registration.

You must be acting on your own behalf, not for anyone else. You must not be self-excluded here or through a centralized self-exclusion programme covering Ontario. Our directors, employees and their immediate households may not hold player accounts.

If we find that you were ineligible, we may void the affected play and any winnings from it, and return your deposited balance to its source.

2. Registration

You must register personally, with information that is true, current and complete, and keep it up to date. One account per person. Duplicate accounts are closed, because limits and self-exclusion mean nothing if a second account is available.

You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for everything done through your account. Tell us immediately if you believe someone else has access to it.

3. Identity Verification

Before real-money play is enabled you must complete identity verification, including a government-issued identity document. We may repeat verification later, and may request additional documents where we are required to.

We may restrict deposits, withdrawals or play while verification is outstanding. If verification cannot be completed, or shows you are under 19, we will close the account and return the deposited balance to its source.

4. Location Verification

You must permit a location check before real-money play, and again when a previous check expires. You must not disguise or misrepresent your location, including by using a VPN, proxy, remote desktop or location-spoofing tool.

Doing so is a material breach. We may suspend the account, void affected play and report the matter where required. Where a check cannot be made confidently, we will decline rather than allow play.

5. Account Rules

Your account is personal and non-transferable. You may not sell, share or allow anyone else to use it. Funds in it are held for play and withdrawal, not as a banking or savings facility, and no interest accrues.

Payment methods must be in your own name. We may set limits on balances, deposits, withdrawals or stakes, and will tell you when a limit affects you.

6. Deposits

Deposits are in CAD, by Interac, Visa, Mastercard, PayPal or a supported online banking method, and are credited when the provider confirms them. Your provider's own fees and limits apply.

A deposit that would breach a limit you have set is declined in full rather than reduced. We may refuse a deposit where the source of funds is unclear or where refusing is necessary to meet our legal obligations.

7. Withdrawals

A withdrawal request is subject to verification before it is processed. Funds normally return to the method used to deposit. We may require additional documents, particularly for a first withdrawal or an unusual amount.

Processing time depends on your method and on the checks required. We do not offer instant or guaranteed withdrawals and make no promise about the exact time a payment will arrive. We may withhold a withdrawal while investigating a suspected breach of these terms, and will tell you that we are doing so.

8. Games and Wagers

A wager is accepted when it is recorded on our systems, and our records govern. A wager that is not recorded has not been placed, whatever your device displayed. Once accepted, a wager cannot be cancelled or amended except as these terms provide.

Each game publishes a return to player: the proportion of all money staked that the game returns over a very large number of rounds. It describes the game's long-run behaviour and says nothing about the outcome of your session.

9. Game Rules

Each game has its own rules, paytable and limits, available within the game. They form part of this agreement. Where a game's specific rules conflict with these general terms, the game's rules govern for that game.

Outcomes are determined by a certified random number generator, or by physical equipment for live dealer games. Previous results do not influence future ones.

10. Technical Errors

If a malfunction affects a game, the affected round is void and stakes for that round are returned. A malfunction voids all related plays and pays.

Where a fault, a pricing error or a system error produces a result or a payout that is obviously wrong, we may correct it and adjust your balance accordingly. We will tell you what was corrected and why. If you notice you have been credited in error, tell us; knowingly keeping the benefit of an obvious error is a breach of these terms.

If your connection drops mid-round, the round is resolved by our servers according to the game rules, and the result stands.

11. Prohibited Conduct

You must not:

• Open or use more than one account, or use anyone else's.
• Give false information, or use payment methods that are not your own.
• Disguise your location, or play from outside Ontario.
• Play while under 19, or allow anyone under 19 to play.
• Use bots, automation, scripts or artificial intelligence to place wagers.
• Exploit a fault, error or loophole rather than reporting it.
• Collude with other players, or act as part of a syndicate.
• Use the account for money laundering or any other unlawful purpose.
• Interfere with the site, its security, or other players' use of it.
• Abuse or threaten our staff.

12. Responsible Gambling

You can set deposit, loss and time limits over 24 hours, 7 days or one month. Tightening a limit takes effect immediately; relaxing or removing one takes effect only after a 24-hour cooling-off period. Reality checks and Take a Break are also available. We monitor patterns of play for indicators of harm and may contact you, apply limits or restrict your account where we consider it necessary. ConnexOntario offers free confidential help at 1-866-531-2600, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

13. Self-Exclusion

You may self-exclude for 6 months, 1 year or 5 years. During the term you cannot sign in, deposit, play, open a new account, or receive marketing from us. Your balance is settled subject to verification.

Self-exclusion cannot be shortened or cancelled once active. We will take reasonable steps to prevent a new account being opened, but you must not attempt to open one. You may also self-exclude from every regulated online gambling site in Ontario at once through BetGuard, and we honour an exclusion registered there.

14. Account Suspension and Closure

You may close your account at any time from your account settings or by contacting support. We settle any remaining balance subject to verification. Closure is not self-exclusion.

We may suspend or close an account where we reasonably believe these terms have been breached, where verification fails, where we are required to by law or the regulator, or where continuing would risk harm to you or to others. Where we may lawfully tell you the reason, we will. A balance that is not the product of a breach is returned to you.

We may close a dormant account after a prolonged period of inactivity, after attempting to contact you and returning any balance.

15. Complaints

Contact us first at support@casinodraftkings.com with your account email and what happened. We acknowledge within 3 business days and aim to resolve within 15 business days, telling you if it will take longer.

If you are not satisfied with our final response, you may escalate to the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO), and to the dispute resolution service designated for Ontario's regulated market. Escalating costs you nothing and does not affect your other rights.

16. Privacy

We handle personal information as set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of this agreement. It explains in particular how geolocation data is used to confirm you are in Ontario, and what we keep afterwards.

17. Intellectual Property

The site, its software, games, text, graphics and marks are owned by us or our licensors. You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the site for lawful play under these terms.

You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, scrape, redistribute or create derivative works from any part of it, or use our marks without written permission.

18. Limitation of Liability

The site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for loss caused by your own breach of these terms, by your equipment or connection, or by circumstances outside our reasonable control. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the balance in your account plus any amount wrongly deducted from it.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for fraud, or your rights under applicable consumer protection law.

19. Governing Law

This agreement is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable there. The courts of Ontario have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to any right you have to complain to the regulator or to a designated dispute resolution service.

20. Changes to Terms

We may change these terms. The date at the top shows the current version. Where a change materially affects your rights we will give reasonable advance notice by email or on the site, and you will be asked to accept the new version before continuing to play.

If you do not accept a change, you may close your account and withdraw your balance subject to verification. Continuing to play after a change takes effect means you accept it.
